Tim Sargisson

Managing Director

Tim has 24 years of experience in the pensions and insurance industry, having joined NPI's graduate programme in 1986. From 1989 to 2000, he was a Board Director of National IFA Lucas Fettes & Partners Plc, moving in 2000 to Smith & Williamson as Sales & Marketing Director of their interactive pension platform - Swipe Plc.

Tim joined IFG in 2002 as Managing Director of its subsidiary The PAL Partnership, now The IPS Partnership. He led the transition of The PAL Partnership from a pure SSAS business into a leading provider of SIPPs with - in its current incarnation as IPS - around 10,000 SIPP and SSAS structures.

In addition to his role at IFG Financial Services, Tim is the Managing Director of two other businesses within the IFG Group, The IPS Partnership and, following IFG's successful acquisition of the business from Santander this year, James Hay. The combined businesses administer in excess of 40,000 structures, with total assets of roughly £12 billion.
