Mike began his career in banking and finance, before moving into a client advisory role in 1994. He became an independent financial adviser in 1999 and joined the IFG team in March 2007. He is one of IFG’s most highly qualified advisers having achieved the industry ‘gold standard’ of Chartered Financial Planner awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute and being accepted as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

He has extensive experience in both the corporate and personal sectors, and specialises in advising the directors of owner-managed businesses and in advising clients on their options at the point of retirement. He has also dealt widely with clients who are looking to use their pension arrangements to finance property purchase.
