Having begun his career in investment property, James went on to work as Business Development Manager for the Braemar Group plc, after which he joined IFG in 2008.

Having attained Diploma level qualifications, he is now engaged in study towards Chartered status. Based at IFG’s Manchester Piccadilly office, James provides independent financial planning services to individuals and businesses in and around Manchester, whilst also advising clients as far afield as North Wales, London and Scotland.

James advises clients on a broad range of financial planning matters, with a particular focus on the design and management of investment portfolios, whilst also frequently dealing with estate planning for clients with large Inheritance Tax liabilities.

Having developed connections with numerous other local professionals in the Manchester area, James is able to provide a well rounded and thorough service, able to refer his clients to other trusted professionals when his financial planning uncovers needs for legal or accountancy services.
